This post is mainly for the girlfriends to send to their boyfriends/fiancés/husbands, but if you want to get make one for your man too- you are in the right place!
It’s October, you know what that means… get your boo baskets planned!
The first step of planning a boo basket is knowing when you will give it to her. Halloween is too late, October 1st is too soon, so when should you give it to her? I’ll tell you right now- plan when you give it to her based around what you are putting in it.
My best tip is to plan a date around the items in the basket, so if you want to do a movie night, put a cozy blanket, snacks, popcorn, cocoa, etc. If you want to go out on a date to a restaurant or activity, put the reservation or activity tickets in the basket as well. Doing this makes it more than just a basket, it’s a romantic gesture every woman will love.

If you aren’t taking your girl on a fall date… what are you doing?? Here are some cute fall date ideas and boo baskets you can plan around them:
Movie night:
This is one of my favorites because it is so versatile and can work for all different couple including long-distance couples. First, you need to pick out a movie. Click here for a list of fall movies perfect for a movie night.
Pumpkin Patch Date & Carving:
Find a pumpkin patch for you both to go to and carve them after. For this basket, you can put some pumpkin carving supplies along with some cozy gifts she will love.
Bonfire, S’more’s, and Stargazing:
Set up a fire and a place for you both to hangout and watch the stars. You can put s’more’s supplies and even a higher telescope on the cheaper end. Don’t forget a blanket for this basket!
Scenic Fall Drive and sunset watch:
Find a nice place to watch the sunset and put some portable games in her basket. You’ll probably want some snacks and blankets for this date as well.
Candle Lit Board Games:
This date is cute and cost-effective. You can put some of her favorite games in her basket along with some other things listed below. Bonus points if you make her dinner or order her favorite food.
Spa Night for Her:
Get some face masks, lotion, body and hair oil, pajamas for her basket and be sure to watch some YouTube videos on how to paint her nails and give a good massage. Bonus points if you do a face mask with her!
DIY Fall décor:
Paint mini pumpkins, make a garland, newspaper ghosts, or mini paper bats. Find a dollar store and/or craft store near you to get these supplies and it can be very cost effective and useful for whoever keeps the décor!
Fall Picnic:
You’ll definitely want to get a blanket in this basket and it’s ideal to make some food, but if not get food from her favorite place. Bonus points for hot cocoa!
